Hilma portraits the unique Swedish painter Hilma af Klint and her struggle to be recognized as an artist.

Beautifully filmed by Ragna Jorming with superb production design by Catharina Nyqvist Ehrnrooth the work on VFX was mainly to help to adjust images to fit the period. Main supplier of VFX shots was DUPP under supervision of Anders Nyman.

In addition DUPP also restored a number of archival shots from old news reels and added our own characters to the shots.

To understand Hilma's internal world of painting we added a layer of animated painting in a couple of poetic scenes produced by Benny Box. You can see one of the scenes below.
